BYU Sophie Digital Library

Sophie Digital Library

The Sophie Library is a digital collection of works by German-speaking women. The site contains hundreds of texts, gathered from all over Germany and Austria. With so many texts and so many pages, the site was becoming difficult to manage. We created a custom built content management system which allows the Sophie staff to input and edit texts without the need of HTML editing software. Texts are stored in a database to reduce the amount of redundant code and to save server space.
